I know a few people at the moment who are thinking a move into a ‘proper job’ from consulting might be a good idea in the current climate.
If so have a look at this – CPO for the Met Police. A challenging environment with very strong stakeholders, but when I worked in the police sector I found senior officers pretty responsive if you showed you could really help them and you knew what you were doing.
Decent salary, good pension…free truncheon….company car (with flashing blue light)….
